Batman Dark Knight Rises Trailer Analysis

The first trailer I am analysing is for the Dark Knight rises film that come out the summer of 2012 here is the trailer...

the trailer starts off slow as the action awaits to build up, this is used to build tension as the music is also quiet at the time slowly building up increasing the tension, there is also very slow narrative with long pauses between the speech, this creates a new aspect of building tension in the shots as with slower speech it acts as though something is happening to the people in volved. At around 1 minute 20seconds the music starts building up to add a sense of upheaval in fortune of the film as it goes in to a heroic type music adding to the "batman" image of the hero always wins. Later in the trailer the narrative says  " you don't owe these people anything..you have given them everything" this suggests that there will be some kind of battle between some people as they insinuate because he has given them everything that he is prepareing for a fight, Batman replies "not yet i havent" this shows that he is the hero as he is willing to die to help gotham giving sense using Propp's theory he reverts to the hero type as he is willing to save the people and risk his life for them. shots used also ses faster jump cuts as the trailer moves on suggesting the action is at a faster pace.
